Setting Your Web Browser's Options

Cookies are small pieces of information that are "remembered" by your Web browser. Activant uses cookies to identify if you are already authenticated on the Activant Customer Web Site. In order for cookies to work, your browser preferences must be properly set. If you are receiving a message that your cookies are turned off, please check your browser's help section for instructions on how to enable cookies. Instructions for the most common Internet browsers are listed below.

Once your preferences have been set, you may return to the Activant home page to login.

Internet Explorer 6.0

  1. From your browser window, select "Tools."
  2. Select "Internet Options."
  3. Click the "Privacy" tab.
  4. Move the settings slider to "Medium," which is the default option.

Internet Explorer 5.0

  1. From your browser window, select "Tools."
  2. Select "Internet Options."
  3. Click the "Security" tab.
  4. Select "Internet."
  5. Select "Custom Level."
  6. Scroll down to "Cookies" and choose "Enable."

Netscape Communicator 6.0

  1. From your browser window, select "Edit"
  2. Select "Preferences."
  3. Click "Privacy and Security"
  4. Select "Cookies."
  5. Choose "Enable."
